    The New Paltz CSD Technology Department exists to provide technical, operational, and integration support for all.  Our goal is to help develop innovative and engaging learning environments that promote student learning and inspire growth.  We will work collaboratively to create a culture that empowers all to persevere and meet the new challenges of our world.

Affordable Connectivity Program
  • The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) provides all households in our district $30 a month assistance if they are enrolled in the Free and Reduced-Price School Lunch Program and/or the School Breakfast Program, including through the USDA Community Eligibility Provision.  Please check the flyer above, visit Affordable Connectivity Program, and/or contact our technology department for more information.

    Project Lead the Way Student-Designed Fitness App Builds Student Strengths

    Grade 7 students in Krista Pachomski’s Project Lead The Way (PLTW) class, having practiced their real-world skills of invention, critical thinking, and problem-solving gained through the innovation of PLTW’s national STEM curriculum, have been using an App Inventor from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) to build a fitness app from scratch.     Integrated Technology teacher Angelo Urrico has been creating a buzz with his visits to the classrooms at Duzine and Lenape Elementary Schools with some fun new technology—Bee-Bots! Mr. Urrico’s “hive” of programmable floor robots has introduced younger students to the basic concepts of coding with a colorful, hands-on approach. Click here to read more about it!
