Course Description
This is a full-year course designed to develop bookkeeping skills. It is an introduction to the keeping of business and financial records for both a service and merchandising business. The course goes through the accounting cycles of a both a sole proprietorship and partnership. The course begins with the recording of transactions using debits and credits and ends with the production of the income statement and balance sheet business documents. This is a great course for students planning on majoring in Accounting or Business Administration in college. Upon completion, a student should be able to keep a simple set of books.
