• Dear Parents and/or Guardian;

    Your child is a senior this year and will need to submit several photos for their senior yearbook.

    We have been working with Lifetouch - Prestige Portraits and are asking each senior person to be photographed by Prestige Portraits. Each senior is entitled to 5 poses which are free to the student.  Students will not be denied a photograph if there is no payment. However, please inform your child as to the sitting that was selected so they are prepared. Parents are under NO obligation to purchase any photo packet from Lifetouch. We are continually scheduling additional timeframes to accommodate all students in the class. Parents are notified via email that was given to guidance for that parent.  If this email is incorrect or you are not receiving emails, please notify the high school office or guidance office to ensure your info is correct.

    Call to schedule your students' appointment for their Prestige Portraits senior portrait.  Lifetouch will be more than accommodating and will work with you to find a time that works for you. You must call them at 1-800-333-2560 to schedule your appointment or complete this online at prestigportraits.com

    If you choose to submit a senior portrait from another photographer to replace the Lifetouch photo for the yearbook, you may still do this.  You will need to arrange everything with your photographer of choice and be certain that they submit your child's chosen pose for the yearbook to the emails below.  The photographer must send a letter with the image, which is a release form, allowing the school to use the image. We do, however, ask that your child still sits with Prestige as well.
     

    Important Yearbook Dates to Remember:

    October 15 – all baby photos, remember when photos, sibling photos and senior quotes are due to the yearbook

    These photos may be brought into school to be scanned and picked up at a later date or emailed to hsyearbook@newpaltz.k12.ny.us .

    December 1 – all senior portraits are due to the yearbook

    Due to yearbook advisor no later than Dec. 1 Prestige Portrait images are automatic. You must get any other photographer to send the image to hsyearbook@newpaltz.k12.ny.us .

    Purchasing a Yearbook- Preorder Cost is $60.00 reg. 

    To purchase your child’s yearbook click on the link on the New Paltz High School web page or go to http://store.jostens.com   You may have to choose your high school but should be able to order online. I would like to encourage you to do this early so we have an idea of how many yearbooks to order.

    Early in the year, you may request a personalized copy which is embossed in the cover. Later in the school year this will not be an option. Please order soon.

    Ad space is available for parents to purchase for their seniors.
