Iva Profaci's kindergarten class at Duzine Elementary is celebrating diversity. 

 

Students brought in meaningful items that offer a glimpse into their cultural heritage, exploring the rich tapestry that makes their class so wonderfully diverse. From the vibrant traditions of Pakistan and Jordan to the rich heritage of Peru, China, Afghanistan, Mexico, and Bangladesh, each student shared the beauty of their cultural identity.

 

“We learned about asking a question or giving a comment," says Profaci, fostering the spirit of curiosity, understanding, and the power of communication in her classroom.
