Hello!

Let me tell you a little bit about myself.  I have been working as a special education teacher for over 10 years in the surrounding area. I enjoy teaching all subjects, but reading is my favorite! I also like collaborating with other teachers and professionals to meet the needs of each student. I spent most of my younger years living in Queens and Brooklyn but moved to New Paltz for college. I received my bachelors and master's degrees at SUNY New Paltz and have remained in the New Paltz area for several years. New Paltz is a very special place to me and I truly enjoy the mountain views and hiking trails! As an educator, I firmly believe that all children can learn, and that school should be an environment where students are encouraged to thrive!  I am looking forward to a great school year!
