Guest author Joseph Wallace made a memorable return to the Middle School last week, engaging with a group of Grade 8 students who had read his novel, “Diamond Ruby.” The morning session was filled with lively discussions about the book, followed by a delightful potluck lunch shared by everyone. 

 

In the afternoon, Wallace delved into the creative writing projects he had collaborated on with the students this past fall. He also took the opportunity to honor the winners of the Grade 8 writing contest, as well as those who received honorable mentions and the prestigious Silver Key Award in the regional Scholastic Art & Writing Awards.
