Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire Memorial Scholarship
Posted by April Miller on 9/16/2024The Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire Memorial offers college scholarships of up to $6,000 per academic year ($3,000 per semester) to the children of workers who were permanently disabled or killed on the job and are receiving New York State workers’ compensation benefits. We are hoping that you can help us award scholarships to eligible students by publicizing this information to high school juniors and seniors whose opportunity to attend the college of their choice – or to attend college at all – may depend on this type of scholarship assistance. Students who are currently enrolled in college are also eligible for an award if they meet the scholarship criteria.
A flyer with information about the TSFFM and a copy of the application can be found by clicking here or you can go to the website by clicking here.
We appreciate anything you can do to distribute this information to individual students or to the student population at large – we welcome applications from any eligible students and are anxious to fulfill our mission by providing them with financial assistance for higher education.
