Last Friday, students from Todd Martin's studio photography class visited Beacon Tintype in Beacon, NY, where they delved into the fascinating world of wet-plate collodion photography—a process that has changed very little since 1850. 

 

From an insightful studio tour to a live demonstration, our students were captivated by the parallels drawn between this timeless technique and the processes they have learned in their classes this year.
