The Diversity Inclusion for Youth (DIY) club attended the Transformative Classroom Learning Youth Conference alongside their peers from the Kingston City School District.

 

Under the guidance of club advisor Benjamin Liberatore, students shared impactful presentations during a session entitled “The Power of Storytelling.” They re-enacted their personal experiences, shedding light on moments of adversity, triumph, and everything in between. In addition to these powerful narratives, students discussed how the DIY club continuously strives to cultivate an environment of acceptance and understanding within their school community.
