Pursuant to Governor Cuomo’s Executive Order 202.1, dated March 12, 2020, which, among other things, suspended portions of the NYS Open Meetings Law, the New Paltz Central School District Board of Education meeting on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at 7:00 PM will be held via the Zoom app.
The Executive Session of the Board of Education will be initiated after the Board of Education first convenes the public meeting by using the Zoom conferencing app, adopting a motion to go into Executive Session, disconnecting the conference call and then reinitiating a public meeting conference call once the Executive Session has concluded.
Due to public health and safety concerns and pursuant to Executive Order 202.1, the public will not be permitted to attend this meeting in person, either at the District or at the remote locations where the Board of Education members will be situated. Therefore, the provisions of Board Policy 1510 (Board of Education Meetings) regarding public meetings, public attendance, and videoconferencing are being suspended for this Board meeting and for all other Board and other meetings until further notice. The public, however, will be able to listen to or watch this meeting through the live stream. The meeting will be recorded and later transcribed.
