  • YMCA Program

Looking for an affordable, supportive alternative to at-home learning, where essential health and safety guidelines are practiced? We are excited to announce that on Monday, September 14, 2020, the YMCA of Kingston & Ulster County will be bringing its "Y Academy" program to Lenape! New Paltz K-6 students will now have the opportunity to conduct their virtual learning with the support of YMCA staff! Get more information about the YMCA program here: Click here to view the flyer (en español)

Additionally, Ulster County has just announced that the Project Resilience Child Care Initiative will expand financial assistance for child care to include families who earn between 200% and 300% above the poverty line. Those who qualify through this initiative will have half of their child care costs covered over the next six weeks.

To apply for assistance, parents should reach out to the Ulster County Recovery Service Center or Family of Woodstock.

For additional information about the Project Resilience Child Care Initiative and to find out if you qualify for assistance please call the Ulster County Recovery Service Center at (845) 443-8888 or visit https://covid19.ulstercountyny.gov/schools/. • Message from the Food Services Department

Meal distribution will begin on Tuesday, September 8, 2020. Breakfast and lunch are available for delivery. Students who qualify for either free or reduced-price meals will receive both meals free of charge. The cost for all other students is $5.00 per day for elementary students and $5.50 per day for secondary students. This charge covers both meals and their delivery. Any funds from 2019-2020 remaining on meal accounts will be available for use. The MySchoolBucks website (which has a small transaction fee) can be used to replenish student accounts, or money can be sent directly to the New Paltz School District Food Services Department.

If you would like to receive breakfast and lunch, please complete this form: https://forms.gle/ yhkZ8DcWuFXgsUyA7
