New Paltz School Tax Payments by Mail or Online only
New Paltz Central School District’s 2025 school tax payments must be made by either mail or online. In-person payments are not being accepted.
Taxes are due September 30, 2025. If paid in the month of October there will be a 2% penalty assessed.
Be advised, October 31st is the final date to pay your school taxes through the district.
MAIL:
Taxpayers should send a check, along with the payment stub located on the bottom portion of the tax bill.

There are no fees associated with this option. The U.S. Postmark is considered the date of payment.

Senior Citizen Exemption and Enhanced School Tax Relief (STAR) Exemption:
If you are a Senior Citizen in the New Paltz Central School District, you may be eligible for a
School tax exemption. To apply for exemptions, contact your local tax assessor’s office.
