    To Parents, Caregivers, and Staff:

    Today we were notified that a New Paltz High School student has tested positive for COVID-19.  The student was last in attendance on Friday, November 12, 2021.   One student will need to quarantine as a result of exposure to this positive case.   All required notifications have been made to the Ulster County Department of Health and the impacted family. 

     Please remember, COVID-19 symptoms may appear two to 14 days after exposure to the virus and include fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, and diarrhea. If your child experiences any of these symptoms, please keep them home from school and closely monitor them. Consult with your child’s doctor for advice whenever needed.
