    New Paltz Central School District’s Gregory Warren Receives Prestigious Athletic Administrators Award

    Gregory Warren, the New Paltz Central School District’s director of health, physical education, and athletics, has been selected as the recipient of the prestigious National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA) State Award of Merit. This honor is awarded annually to one New York State athletic administrator who has demonstrated outstanding dedication to the advancement of education-based athletics at the local, state, and national levels.

    Warren is being recognized for his tireless efforts in mentoring and educating both new and seasoned athletic administrators. According to NIAAA State Liaison Dennis Fries, Warren’s commitment to promoting best practices and high standards within school district athletic administrations has had a profound impact on student-athletes and professionals across the field.

     Warren, a past president of the New York State Athletic Administrators Association (NYSAAA), currently serves on the NIAAA’s national faculty, further solidifying his role as a leader and advocate for athletic programs that prioritize student growth, character development, and excellence.

    The NIAAA State Award of Merit will be officially presented to Warren at the New York State Athletic Administrators Association’s Annual Conference during the Roy O’Neill/Dave Martens Awards Banquet in Saratoga Springs on March 13.
